Jo-Ann talks to Wemo about her passion for business, which she developed at a young age. Always the problem solver, she knew that traditional career was not for her. She studied public health and the rest as they say is history. Wemo is the proud Founder of MAMA Ventures, a social enterprise that works with women and girls from under privileged backgrounds who are victims of gender based violence. Wemo states, “As a female entrepreneur, it is important to master and understand your business model because women are different thinkers who are programmed to fix solutions and drive change as an extension of who they are emotionally and in life.” Do you believe female entrepreneurs need specialised business models?
