Jo-Ann talks to Carla Williams Johnson a Media Marketing Specialist based in Trinidad & Tobago. She founded Carli Communications, which offers advertising and marketing advice to entrepreneurs and business owners who are interested in building a business in the ‘real world’. She considers herself an advocate for business men and women who were desirous of promoting themselves by offering sound, unbiased advice, focusing mainly on methods to identify ideal clients, online and offline approaches to boosting visibility and the creation of practical marketing campaigns designed to increase revenue.
Carla shares how she deals with difficulty, "Well for me I usually deal with it head on. It can be very hard though. My usual defense mechanism is sleep. We all have a defense mechanism when it comes to handling stressful situations, some persons eat, some exercise (which is not necessarily a bad thing ) but I sleep. But because I know this about myself I do not allow myself to fall into the frame of mind of acceptance. I get up, and deal with it as best as I could. If I can’t I solicit the opinion and advice of the people I trust who I know can help." How do you deal with your challenges?
