Mathias Abraham Abdissa, Ethiopia

Mathias is an entrepreneur, engineer, and product builder with a very solid engineering background, who has led and built financial, e-commerce, real estate, and educational products.  In the past he founded an e-commerce startup and generated $0.3M in revenue in 16 months and under 4 employees with $0 capital.  He also founded a Saas startup and lead a team of 5-8 engineers to build software applications for hardware components.  He has collaborated with other senior product managers to strategise product releases, bug fixes, marketing and sales materials. He has a global network which spans China, UAE and the Philippines for e-commerce and consulting businesses.’  As an entrepreneur he is very passionate about solving problems by leveraging engineering, product, and business experience.  His current interests are in e-commerce and blockchain/cryptocurrency.  In the crypto space he is fascinated by stable currencies, public and private chains, and remittance applications. Mathias is currently doing business development across the African continent for Reserve, a company building a stable, decentralized currency.
