Swastika Khanal, Nepal

Swastika is a business and finance professional by background. She is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as Nepal and is a CFA level III candidate. Brought up in a business background, she always wanted to work in the field of entrepreneurship development and contribute to the startup ecosystem of Nepal. She has worked in a number of reputed financial services organizations and is currently engaged as a Consultant Director in the regulator of capital markets of Nepal, the Securities Board of Nepal. She started an initiative called “The Question Mark” in 2021, with the mission to create a platform that promotes brainstorming, networking, mentorship and financing, enabling the Nepalese youth to think big, generate ideas and convert their ideas into viable businesses, creating a larger impact in the society and country as a whole. Swastika is also involved with Ultra Group, a renewable energy company based in Nepal, in the capacity of Director. There, she is involved in strategic planning, policy advisory, overall supervision and leads impactful negotiations and all other major operations at the organization.
