TC: I was introduced into the blogging world by a young lady who saw the potential in me that I never saw in myself. Blogging started off for me as a hobby, which I love to do and only recently I realize that I can gain much more from blogging so I decided pursue it more.
TC: The most challenging aspects of being a blogger are time management, staying focus and fear of failing.
RB: Social media is a key tool for bloggers. Can you give our readers some insight into your strategy?
TC: Yes, I could not agree with you more Social Media is definitely a key tool. My strategy is very simple “BE CONSISTENT”. I really do not have a guide for you because I am still learning but I stay consistent and I do lots of research.
TC: My blog birthday is turning one very soon. My lows were my fears of the critics, my fear of failing and my fear of coming out of my comfort zone. Many times I wanted to give up and forget about this whole blogging thing. But I always remember why I started in the first place and why I should continue. My highs were meeting other bloggers from different parts of the world, being able to inspire persons and being complimented for my good work, being able to work with brands and one of my major highs is being a Brand Ambassador for a Clothing brand in the USA.
TC: Event Management came about as a result of my blogging. My passion is to inspire and empower women so I create events/platforms that will bring women from all walks of life that will help them grow and be motivated as an individual.
TC: This has helped grow my following a great deal and it is still growing.
TC: Wow this is a very good question because I have being thinking of this lately. My next big step for me as a blogger is to be able to coach young and upcoming bloggers. I will also will like to my create my own hard and soft copy style guides and to create my own clothing line.
TC: My advice is to start. Do not mind that everyone is doing the same thing. Be your own voice and make your voice be heard. Be You, Be Different and Be Confident. Push against the odds. You will fail but when you do pick yourself up quickly and move on. Do not be embarrassed of your failures. And never allow fear to cloud your judgment. Always remember why you started when you start because your Why is going to be your main motivation why you should continue.
